VISAS first prize winner in Herb Bradley Challenge raffle announced

Abdul Roudsari is the lucky first prize winner in The Herb Bradley Challenge raffle.

The event itself didn’t take place, but the draw did.  Due to limited snowfall, and higher than average temperatures, The Herb Bradley Challenge, Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Snowsports (VISAS) major fundraiser was sadly cancelled.  The Herb Bradley Challenge is a fun race named in honour of the society’s legendary founder, Herb Bradley.

Fortunately for the raffle’s lucky winners, the draw went on, and three prize winners have the opportunity to take a trip, thanks to the generosity of sponsors.

Abdul Roudsari was the recipient of the WestJet prize, giving him two flights to anywhere WestJet flies. Second prize was a $250 voucher from Harbour Air, a prize claimed by Henry De Wit. Third place prize winner Jackie Bossom was awarded a $100 BC Ferries voucher.

VISAS is extremely grateful for the generous donations they received, and to all those patrons who bought tickets in the draw, a spokesperson said.
