Comox Valley Wild (novice division) brought home a bronze medal last  weekend from the Travis Bateman Memorial Lacrosse Tournament in Victoria. The team defeated the Peninsula Warriors 10-2 to claim the third place prize.

A total of 14 teams were entered into the annual tournament and the Wild managed to win three of four games despite not having two full lines of players.

Coaches Bruce Dyke, Steph Jalbert and Doug Kampen along with team manager Janey Armstrong kept the team motivated and on track for the weekend-long tournament.
