In a closely contested game, the Comox Valley Glacier Kings fell 1-0 at home to the Nanaimo Buccaneers, Saturday at the Sports Centre.
The Bucs lone goal came in the second period.
The Yetis, who have just one win this season, outshot the Bucs 28-26.
The two teams square off again Thursday in Nanaimo.
