Youth ages nine to 18 took over Courtenay Recreation’s LINC Youth Centre’s parking lot last weekend to celebrate BC Youth Week in the third annual Young Ones vs. Old Ones Road Hockey Tournament.
Several teams battled it out for the prizes and bragging rights. The winning youth team, The Stanchions, took on the Old Ones team and reclaimed the cup with an 8-2 win. The day also included a barbecue, sumo suits, give-a-ways, and DQ treats.
