Sunnydale lady golfers getting set to swing into new season
sdgolf It's time to shine the golf clubs and try swing once again. The Sunnydale Tuesday 18-hole ladies start March 29. The sign-up sheet will be in the hallway in the usual place. Tee off time is 9 a.m.; golfers are asked to be at the club by 8:30 a.m. On April 10 everyone is welcome to official opening day with an 18-hole scramble at 1 p.m. (arrive by 12:30 p.m.). Also sign up before spring meeting to follow with dinner after. Ben is doing a Greek-inspired dinner which will cost $17.

Soccer stalwart Paige Campbell returns to Vancouver Island with RMC Paladins
The Royal Military College of Canada’s women’s soccer program will be on Vancouver Island this week for spring competition. The trip will give six of the Paladin team members, including Courtenay’s Paige Campbell, a chance to represent RMC in their home province in front of family and friends.
