The Megan Dalziel G.P. Vanier Secondary Memorial Bursary Committee is very pleased to announce that Chanelle Meeres has been selected as the 2020-21 recipient. The bursary was established to honour Dalziel, who excelled in academics and athletics at Vanier and went on to lead the UVIC women’s basketball to two national championships whilst displaying determination, humility and an inclusive caring demeanour, Dalziel went on to complete her education degree and became a successful secondary school teacher before leaving too soon from cancer.
