In Loving Memory ~

Bill, a resident of the Comox Valley Regional District, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, comforted by his loving family.

Bill was born December 12th, 1926 in Vancouver, British Columbia and spent his formative years as a Chartered Account eventually retiring as Vice President of Finance and Legal Secretary for Fletcher Challenge Canada, formerly, British Columbia Forest Products.

Upon his retirement he continued his love for business as a motel owner on the Sunshine Coast. He enjoyed his summer home on Keats Island with friends and family, eventually moving with Renate to the Comox Valley where he enjoyed playing his piano, watching classic movies and listening to music.

Bill was a loving husband to Renate, father to Barb, her husband Jeff and daughter Kate - Karin, her husband Neil and two children, Petra and Max - Bob, his wife Tamara and two children, Alexis and Hunter.

He will long be remembered for his strong work ethic, stoic nature and particularly his sense of humour usually expressed in song or Shakespearean verse...

"Good night, good night! parting is such sweet sorrow, That I shall say good night, till it be morrow." - William Shakespeare

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
