The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce (CVCC) is once again welcoming the business community to its annual Economic Outlook Breakfast taking place on Thursday, Feb. 8 from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Crown Isle Resort.

Martin Monkman of MNP will be the keynote speaker of the event.

Together with the Chamber, they’ll explore the demographics of the Comox Valley, examining factors such as age distribution, family structures, and where newcomers to the area are choosing to live. They will look at how the demographics and related socioeconomics of the Comox Valley have changed and are projected to change in the future, and what these changes mean for our local businesses, communities, and governments.

Following a full buffet breakfast, the presentation will end with a question period and discussion with a panel of local business leaders.

Panel members will include Mackenzie Gartside of Mackenzie Gartside & Associates, Andrew Gower of Wedler Engineering and Britta Neumann of Berwick Comox Valley Retirement Community.

Tickets are available at the Chamber’s website: www.comoxvalleychamber.com/events.

This event is made possible with support from partners MNP, City of Courtenay, Village of Cumberland, Town of Comox and the Comox Valley Airport.
