For lovers of all things seafood, it is time to get tickets for Western Canada’s largest seafood festival.

The annual BC Seafood Festival will be held once again on Mount Washington, from June 21-23.

Building on the success of last year’s event, the 2024 festival promises an even more exciting lineup of top chefs, interactive booths, tastings, and the popular Fanny Bay Oysters Shucking Competition. Attendees can look forward to an impressive roster of returning and new chefs featured throughout the festival, handpicked by the BC Seafood Festival 2024 ambassador chef Ned Bell.

“We’re thrilled to welcome back the BC Seafood Festival to Mount Washington Alpine Resort,” said Dean Prentice, general manager of Mount Washington Alpine Resort. “The festival’s move to our resort last year was a huge success, and we’re excited to build on that momentum in 2024.”

The BC Seafood Festival will again feature a variety of interactive booths and tastings, showcasing the best of sustainable BC seafood alongside incredible events, and top talent musicians. Highlights include:

• MasterClasses on halibut, oysters, spot prawns, geoduck, wine and spirit pairings

• Clam it Up Happy Hour and CrabFest’s Kitchen Party on Friday

• Gala reception and dinner featuring 10+ top BC chefs on Saturday

• After parties featuring live music by Time Well Wasted and Hounds of Cuchulain

• Fanny Bay Oysters Shucking Competition as part of the Shucked! Oyster Bar Happy Hour
