As the festive month of December is around the corner, Comox Valley Acupuncture is ready to get into the Christmas spirit, and would like to raise money for Santa’s Workshop.

On Saturday, Nov. 27, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., Steven Thomas will be providing 30-minute acupuncture treatments for donation, with all money raised being donated to Santa’s workshop in the Comox Valley.

Please reserve your appointment with Steven by calling the clinic at 250-334-3630. If you are curious about acupuncture and wondering if it could help you please call Comox Valley Acupuncture to inquire. Take this opportunity to receive an acupuncture treatment and to give to the Comox Valley community this Christmas.

Originally from the UK, Thomas has recently moved back to the Comox Valley after working in Northern British Columbia on an acupuncture locum for the last two years.

Thomas has been registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in BC as an acupuncturist in Chinese medicine since 2015, with a background in sports massage and psychology. He is currently learning the Hakomi method, which is a body-centered psychotherapy that is not only a talk therapy, but an awareness of body movements, which blends in beautifully with traditional Chinese medicine’s holistic mind-body approach to health.

Thomas is also participating in end-of-life doula training, which will lead to volunteering at a local hospice.

Thomas practises Chinese medicine at Comox Valley Acupuncture in downtown Courtenay, and is accepting new patients. For more information, or to schedule a consult, call 250-334-3630, or visit comoxvalleyacupuncture.com
