The Comox Valley Regional District advises residents that the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre will remain closed until further notice.
“At this time with so much uncertainty, a difficult decision had to be made regarding the reopening of the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre,” said Jennifer Zbinden, Senior Manager of Recreation Services. “With flu season approaching, COVID cases rising provincially, and requirement to be fiscally responsible to our residents, we are not in a position to re-open the facility in November or December. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this challenging time.”
The Comox Valley Sports Centre gym, arenas and pool will remain open.
Available pool programs will include aquacise, rehab swim times, lane swim times, camps and swim lessons.
Available ice programs include public skating, drop-in hockey, and select camps and lessons.
Reservations are required for all available programs.
