CONTEST: Ski for free at Mount Washington this year!

Free 2017-18 ski pass up for grabs

Do you love to ski and/or snowboard?

Are you a resident of Vancouver Island?

Then you’ll want to enter this Comox Valley Record contest!

Our friends at Mount Washington Alpine Resort have supplied us with a complimentary GOLD 2017-18 SEASON PASS valued at $1049 (based on adult/regular) to use however we see fit.

We decided to give it away!

Considering the value of the prize, you’ll have to work for it.

We want to see how creative you can get.

Using the photo supplied with this article (use the blank one at the top), go to imgflip.com and make us a funny, family-friendly meme.

Then email it, along with your contact info (address, phone number) to editor@comoxvalleyrecord.com to be eligible.

Limit of one (1) entry per person.

Our esteemed panel of judges will pick five (5) finalists, and then leave it up to our readers to determine the winner.

Memes must be received by Dec. 1.

The finalists will be posted on the Comox Valley Record newsroom Facebook page the week of Dec. 4, and readers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite meme.

The winner will be decided on Dec. 8, just in time for the opening day of the Mount Washington ski season, Dec. 9.

(The prize must be accepted as awarded and must be picked up at The Record office).

So, Vancouver Islanders, it’s time to get creative. You have nothing to lose, and a season’s worth of free skiing to gain.
