Courtenay Mayor Larry Jangula, Lawn Bowling Club president Michael Lynch and club members celebrated the opening of the renovated lawn bowling building in Bill Moore Park on Thursday, Sept.

Over the past few years, a series of upgrades have expanded the size of the building with a new kitchen facility, washrooms (including an accessible washroom), beverage serving area, and larger deck area.

Club members and the community at large now have access to a modernized rental facility, including an updated kitchen. For rental information, visit www.courtenay.ca/facilities
