The fifth annual Cumberland Home and Garden Tour is just around the corner and villagers are offering visitors an exclusive glimpse behind the fences, hedges and doors of legendary Cumberland.

On Saturday, June 15, over 20 home, gardens, churches and commercial spaces will be on the roster for curious tour attendees. From heritage classics to stunning re-builds and from herb gardens to active urban farms this tour, offers something for everyone.

Visit the historic Cumberland home of Simon Leisure, owner of the Cumberland Big Store. Discover where Cumberland’s first (and only) socialist mayor laid his head. Wander through the sacred space of early Anglican residents. Check out the gorgeous renovation of Cumberland’s first famous Italian bakery. Poke around in a classic Bevan home turned holiday rental. Explore lush gardens, urban farm stands, incredible new builds, beautifully designed water features, beehives, healing herb gardens and so much more. Plus expect pop-up surprises along the way, including a Cumberland Forest plant sale, art shows, jazz concerts and more.

Tickets for the Cumberland Home and Garden Tour are on sale now at Jipsi Tree, Design Therapy and Art Knapp Courtenay, or visit cumberlandforest.com for links to online tickets. Organize a group of friends and do the tour on foot or bike stopping throughout the day for a cool drink or tasty snack from one of Cumberland’s awesome eateries.

All proceeds from the Cumberland Home and Garden Tour support the efforts of the Cumberland Community Forest Society to protect the forested watersheds around Cumberland. Find our more at Cumberland Forest on facebook or @cumberlandhomeandgardentour or @thecumberlandforest on Instagram.
