The Glacier Probus Club, the Comox Valley's newest club, is open for membership.
It is specifically for retired and semi-retired people in the Comox Valley and is exclusively for social and activity purposes. As of July 19 the club already has 125 prospective members and 28 planned activity groups.
The first official meeting of the Glacier Probus Club is on Sept. 5.
As the club will soon approach full membership, anyone interested in joining should visit the club website at www.glacierprobusclub.com. If that is not possible, contact membership co-ordinator Tony Nicol at 250-898-8966.
