The Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a cross-Canada virtual concert, and the Glacier Grannies are getting involved.

The virtual concert, which begins streaming April 15 at 4:30 p.m. local (available for 72 hours) will feature a tapestry of Canadian talent, including vocal, instrumental, dance, spoken word, storytelling and drumming artists, including Jackie Richardson, Steven Page, and the National Ballet.

The Comox Valley Glacier Grannies – a local support group for the Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign – is selling charcuterie boxes as a local fundraiser, and the cut-off date for ordering them is April 7.

The Glacier Grannies will deliver delicious charcuterie boxes from Runge’s European Deli to your door to enjoy with the concert.

To order a charcuterie box, visit www.glaciergrannies.org, where there will be details of the different platters available, and all other order information. Orders must be received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7. The Grannies will deliver to all addresses between Fanny Bay and Black Creek, including Cumberland. Deliveries will be made between 1 and 4 p.m. on April 15.
