The Sharing the Christmas Spirit Hamper Program received a large delivery of turkeys Monday — the day before delivery day.
A dedicated crew of volunteers organized totes this season in the upstairs portion of the Florence Filberg Centre, which the City of Courtenay donated.
Volunteer co-ordinator Ken Jones said it’s been the best space yet for the program, which is in its 31st year.
