A little boy with cerebral palsy will benefit from donations Saturday from photographs with the Easter bunny at the Courtenay Walmart.
All donations to pay for the photos will go to three-year-old Owen, a Comox Valley boy who is unable to walk or talk. After a premature birth at St. Joseph's General Hospital, he spent four months in the neonatal intensive care unit at B.C. Children's Hospital.
Owen undergoes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, massage and acupressure to manage his condition.
His family is raising money for the Owenpalooza Fund to pay for travel to the U.S. for a neuromuscular treatment called the Anat Baniel Method.
