Hornby Island Fire Hall officially opens

Grand opening celebrations Sunday

Hornby Island Fire Rescue staff and volunteers, Comox Valley Regional District directors and staff, and many local residents took part in the grand opening of the Hornby Island Fire Hall on Sunday, Feb. 11. The celebration included a parade from the old hall to the new one, as well as the official wetting down of the fire truck, and a chance to wander through and explore the new fire hall.
