Library offers technology-focused training sessions

The Courtenay and Comox branches of the Vancouver Island Regional Library will hold free technology-focused training sessions this month.

The Courtenay and Comox branches of the Vancouver Island Regional Library will hold free technology-focused training sessions this month. The sessions are designed to introduce people to the basic concepts involved in using the new library catalogue, Facebook, eBooks, and online research. Note that some sessions are drop-in and some require prior registration. The schedule is as follows: • Introduction to eBooks: Comox: Aug. 10, 2 p.m. Call 250-339-2971 to register.
