Are you curious about the ever-growing popularity of mindfulness meditation?

Here is your chance to learn about mindfulness meditation, practice some gentle yoga and support your local food bank at the same time.

Join Kristin Bjarnason of Simply Being Mindful on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 7:50 a.m. at the cozy Royston Hall for a one-hour guided class.

Bjarnason has taught mindfulness meditation in the Comox Valley for over 10 years and is certified to teach by the Awareness Training Institute and the Greater Good Science Center University of Berkeley.

Studies suggest that using a mindfulness approach has a huge potential for achieving and maintaining good health. Mindfulness is the practice of being more present in all aspects of your daily life and has been shown to assist with better sleep, feeling calmer and more relaxed in your body, improved relationships and an overall sense of well-being.

For admission please bring a non-perishable item or 5$ donation for your local food bank. Kristin will match all donations.

Please call for more information and to reserve your seat at 250-334-7008
