From Nov. 5-17, the Royston-Cumberland Lions club will be accepting applications for Christmas hampers from those in need in the Royston-Cumberland area.
This is a “need, not greed” program that the club has run for the past 10 years.
The club is also requesting donations of non-perishable food items from area families, to help fill these hampers.
There will be a collection bin at the 1st Credit Union office on Dunsmuir Avenue. As well donations can be left at the Cumberland Hotel.
If you are unable to reach these locations, please contact Lions Bob or Mary at 250-400-5415, and we will arrange to pick up. To apply for a Christmas hamper, call the same number.
