Thinking about golf? Your timing is perfect!

Crown Isle’s 2020 membership options will have you polishing the clubs early
The beautiful settings at Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community offer a picturesque backdrop to your enjoyment of physical activity and social interaction. The club has a variety of membership opportunities, designed to appeal to players at all different commitment or budget levels.

Do you love to golf and dream about playing regularly at a top-notch, well-established club close to home?

With an eye toward making golf even more accessible for people in and around the Comox Valley – no matter your age, skill level, income or time availability – Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community has revamped its membership program for 2020. With new benefits and a wider range of intermediate and specialty packages, it means playing this highly rated Graham Cooke-designed course is easier than ever!

“We want to make Crown Isle approachable for everyone,” says marketing manager Kristy Pedersen. “Whether you’re a once-a-week player, like to play afternoons or evenings, or are an everyday player, you’ll find a quality golf experience at a price range and membership level that works for you.”

Get started early!

Anxious to get going? As an added bonus, new members who sign up now don’t have to wait until April 1 to start using their memberships. Whether you’re investing in a full or limited annual membership, the unique intermediate unlimited membership for players aged 19 to 39, or a social membership, you can get out on the course now. While seasonal playing rules apply, the effective drainage around the course provides good conditions for winter golf.

First responders honoured through golf

If you’re in the military or are a first responder, two styles of special memberships are available. One provides 45 passes to use whenever you want; the other comes with more passes but must be used after 2 p.m. in-season, or anytime during the off-season months. Ask at the club about how this can apply to you!

Sliding scale rates for Juniors

Among the changes this year is a move to make golf more affordable for juniors. A new formula sees pricing based on the young player’s age multiplied by 20, up to a maximum of $360 (age 18). If you’re already an adult member and you want to give your kids a taste for the game, dependant children under 18 play for free with a member parent.

Part of a large golf network

Crown Isle is part of the Pacific Links Golf Network, a global reciprocal program featuring more than 530 clubs that offers Crown Isle members at all levels 50 per cent off green fees at other member clubs. Closer to home, Crown Isle has reciprocal agreements with four clubs, giving you member access at Bear Mountain, Quilchena Golf Club, Semiahmoo Resort and Talking Rock Golf Club.

To find out more about your membership options, visit, email or drop by the club at 399 Clubhouse Dr. in Courtenay. You can also follow Crown Isle on Facebook.
