The national Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign is in full swing all week, and the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation will be the local benefactor.

From Sept. 13-19, 100 per cent of all proceeds from every Smile Cookie purchased at any of the four local Tim Hortons locations will go to the CVHF.

“We are grateful that the owners of the Tim Hortons in our community have selected the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation as their charity to support through this year’s Smile Cookie Campaign,” said CVHF board president Bill Anglin. “The funds raised will help ensure the best quality care in our community. On behalf of the foundation’s board, I also want to thank the team at the four Tim Hortons locations in the Valley and everyone who buys a cookie, or two, this week. In doing so, you are helping to raise funds for local healthcare. Thank you!”

The four Comox Valley Tim Hortons are located at:

• 727 Anderton Rd., Comox;

• 2451 Cliffe Ave., Courtenay;

• 789 Ryan Rd., Courtenay;

• 294 Lerwick Rd., Courtenay.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign. In 2020, the campaign raised a record of $10.56 million for 550 charities, hospitals and community groups across Canada.
