Two grads from Highland in Comox headed for military college

Two recent graduates of Highland Secondary School will soon be on their way to Royal Military College in Kingston, Ont.

Benjamin Collin and Nathan Rushton, two recent graduates of Highland Secondary School, will soon be on their way to Royal Military College in Kingston, Ont.

They were sworn into the Canadian Forces by Rear Admiral William Truelove, the commander of Maritime Forces Pacific. The ceremony at HMCS Esquimalt in Victoria included five other persons from Vancouver Island.

Collin and Rushton will commence regular officer training and at the same time will work toward a four-year university degree.
