Workshops continuing at ValleyLinks

ValleyLinks has been hosting workshops to address aspects of working within the non-profit world as well as interpersonal relationships.

ValleyLinks has been hosting a series of Lunch N’ Learn workshops that have addressed aspects of working within the non-profit world as well as interpersonal relationships.

Maureen Miller, a renowned personal and business coach, has brought her winning attitude and wealth of knowledge to participants in the series, which has four more workshops. Prior attendance is not necessary in to sign up for the next topic.

July 11 — Maureen will teach Communication Tools, which is highly recommended to anyone who works with volunteers. It addresses such topics as clearing up misunderstandings without conflict, finding clarity in chaos, and convincing your volunteer team to buy in to your great idea.

July 25 — The first of the Irresistible Attraction series will begin. These three workshops are best attended as a set — and address topics such as attracting the “right” people into your life, being the master of your destiny, making your life flow more efficiently and finding time to be creative and innovative!

Workshop attendees will need to bring a bag lunch (sessions run from noon to 1). Workshops cost $10 for Volunteer Comox Valley members, and $15 for non-members. Register by calling or visiting 532  Fifth St. in Courtenay. For more information, phone 250-334-8063.
