The Lensmen perform this Thursday at Zocalo Café from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Having become regulars at Zocalo, the Lensmen collectively bring years of experience to recreate music that’s been around for a long time.
Len Wilkie, on drums and vocals, will croon his way through bossa, country, pop and Dixie favourites.
Noel Thomas, trumpeter of worldwide experience and a Desperation Jazz original member along with Wilkie, brings great taste to the Lensmen’s musical stylings.
Al West, bass, banjo, vocals, says he has no formal training, but for street smarts. West’s playing proves him one of the best.
Michael Eddy has a degree in classical piano. He loves jazz and loves to play.
