Summer sounds of jazz at Zocalo

Indigo Jazz is the featured guest on the first Friday of the month at the Zocalo Café.

Dale Graham (vocals), Rick Husband (guitar), and John Hyde (bass) have promised to conjure sunshine and dry weather with their jazz magic.

The trio has been working hard on a repertoire suited to their assignment. Stella by Sunlight is the obvious opener.

A medley of Summer Leaves and Baby, It’s Hot Outside will follow.  The group will turn their formidable skills loose on that timeless ballad Here’s That Sunny Day.

Watch What Happens when they bring out their hot Summer Samba sounds, and feel the burn as the up-tempo swinger How Hot The Sun closes the show.

Come join Indigo Jazz for an evening of summer jazz, at the coolest little café in town. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., admission is by donation, and the food and drink at the Zocalo Café never fails to delight.
