Patrick MacGibbon put together a stellar faculty including local musicians Tim Croft, Jeff Drummond, Aaron Amar, Blaine Dunaway and Mike Eddy. CYMC alumni Dan Craven from Qualicum and longtime director of the Malaspina Jazz Camp, John Capon, brought their talent and enthusiasm as well.

Two student jams at Crown Isle and a sold-out faculty concert at the Elks Hall filled the weekday evenings. The program concluded with combos and a great big band sound in lovely Filberg Park.

CYMC is indebted to all three venues, which offered their stages at no charge as well as to its camp photographer Vic Kirby, who has freely given of his time to capture these happy moments.
