Zappacosta to play in Courtenay

Head to Crown Isle for an intimate evening with multi-Juno and American Music Award winner Alfie Zappacosta, one of Canada’s premier singer/songwriters as he performs impressive renditions of his life’s work in a blend of acoustic, smooth jazz, and pop.

Zappacosta’s lineup will include his ’80s hit song Overload from the multi-platinum soundtrack movie Dirty Dancing along with We Should Be Lovers, When I Fall (In Love Again) and Nothing can Stand in Your way, performed as they were meant to be heard.

A true artist, Zappacosta delivers a live performance like no other with his unique vocal ability, emotional delivery and masterful guitar playing. From the first notes of a song, he sets the mood and tone for an exceptional evening… taking you on an alluring and soulful journey.

The Courtenay performance takes place at Crown Isle, Friday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at Long and McQuade (960 England Ave., Courtenay, 250-334-4885).
