Comox Valley Hospice Society volunteers Joyce Kuhn and Ted Hicks will help you plan and determine your preferences on end-of-life care at an afternoon workshop on Sunday, May 25 in Comox.
Ted Hicks, a minister and hospital chaplain, will share his experience developing his personal Advance Care Plan, as well as his family's experience with their aging parents. Joyce Kuhn, whose background is in nursing, will show a moving and helpful video, "Anna's Story." She will also help with medical aspects of an Advance Care Plan.
The workshop will also outline the ways the hospice society can further assist in the preparation of personal end-of-life care.
