Crown Isle Resort, Kingfisher Resort and Spa, Tria Culinary Studio, 5th Street Florist, Quality Foods, McKinnon Photography, Rattan Plus and more.

These are just a few of the exhibitors you can expect to see at the Comox Valley Love Affair.
Jenny Deters of the Old House Village Hotel & Spa and Karen McKinnon of McKinnon Photography are thrilled to be hosting the March 5 debut of a wedding show unlike which the North Island has ever seen.

The Comox Valley Love Affair will feature top-notch exhibitors from the Comox Valley, Campbell River, and the surrounding areas at the reputable Old House Village Hotel & Spa in Courtenay.
“We are so excited and proud to bring together all these local businesses and to be a part of showcasing what makes the Valley such a unique place to create an event to remember,” said Deters.
The boutique show promises to treat future brides, grooms, and other curious attendees to a chic event.
“We are thrilled to have Blue Moon Estate Winery providing complimentary cocktails to our attendees, and Tria will be serving their Comox Valley famous gourmet crepes,” said Deters, adding “details such as this and our unique setup have exhibitors really excited.”
When McKinnon and Deters created the event it came from a place of pride in what the Valley has to offer and a passion for weddings and events.
“The response has been phenomenal,” said McKinnon, who has been humbled by the community’s support. “We are also thrilled that the Comox Valley Record enthusiastically offered to create a special newspaper section around the event.
“Everyone is so excited. We even have people who aren’t getting married buying tickets because it is a great opportunity to learn about local services, and of course have a crepe!”
Throughout the event, attendees will walk the grounds visiting exhibitors who will be showcasing their services throughout the gardens, banquet rooms, and luxury suites. With this unique event layout, attendees will have the chance to move around the hotel and really connect with each vendor.

Attendees will also be entered to win a wedding package full of value.
Many exhibitors and attendees are already planning to make it a weekend event, as the Old House Village Hotel and Spa is offering special rates.
