Comox Valley RCMP issue arrest warrant for local man

Warrant of the week

Michael Leighton is back in the news.

The Comox Valley RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for Leighton, on charges of break and enter, possession of stolen property, and mischief.

The 32-year-old Comox Valley man is described as 5’11” tall, 181 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Leighton was previously arrested in May and charged with more than two dozen offences, including break and enter, possession of stolen property, possession of an identification document, mischief under $5,000, possession of break and enter tools, and trafficking in property obtained by crime.
