Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Comox is smiling this morning.
The Wednesday, Oct. 27 BC/49 draw produced a major prize winner from the area.
According to the BCLC website, a ticket bought in Comox had five of the six numbers, plus the bonus number, for a prize of $75,000.
The numbers drawn were 4, 8, 25, 26, 28, and 49. The bonus number was 6.
There was no winner of the $2 million grand prize.
