Village Market Day 2023 in Cumberland is coming this weekend.
Join friends and neighbours from across the Comox Valley and a host of community partners, local shops and restaurants, vendors, artists, musicians and many more for the annual Village Market Day on Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in downtown Cumberland.
The area will be filled with more than 130 vendors with handmade, homemade, homegrown, small-scale, grassroots and fair trade goods. Live music will take place on two stages, fun kids activities, a Cumberland Forest plant sale, community booths, food vendors, local merchant specials and more will all be part of the fun.
Performers include Pony Gold, Trombonissimo, Katrina Kadoski, Tereza Tomek, Pranatricks, Of Cosmos, Space Junk Removal Service, Alan Jossul, Chad Pabianek, the Valley Edge Choir, Amy Muloin and a finale dance party in Village Square with Roots Roundup (music goes to 4:30 p.m.).

Village Market Day 2023 is coordinated by Elevate and held during the Victoria Day long weekend celebrations in Cumberland. Elevate is a grassroots, street-level, nonprofit event production company.
