Courtenay-Alberni Green Party of Canada Association is hosting a Wine and Cheese Party at Morningstar Farm near Parksville, Nov. 1 starting at 7 p.m.
West coast folk rock group Brave the Weather, described as “certified local, organic, free-range, GM free, fair-trade, re-purposed, but not re-cycled,” will be providing the entertainment.
Richard Boyce, also “certified local and organic”, will be presenting excerpts from his film “Coastal Tarsands – Journey to Deleted Islands.”
