Courtenay resident Ida Fraser sent in these shots of a pod of orcas hunting sea lions between Buckley Bay and Deep Bay, Sunday afternoon.

“There were seven to nine orcas, including a baby,” said Fraser. “They played and taught the baby for many hours.”
