Demonstrators gathered Friday morning outside the office of Courtenay-Comox MLA Ronna-Rae Leonard, demanding protection of old-growth forests.
The gathering was held in conjunction with another event in Port Renfrew, the site of many peaceful protests, sit-ins and blockades to save old-growth forests in Fairy Creek and Bugaboo Creek.
