Island Health has sent another exposure alert to parents of students attending Georges P. Vanier Secondary School in Courtenay.

The latest exposure dates are Feb. 23, 25 and 26.

“Island Health is in the midst of conducting contact tracing to identify any staff or students that need to self-isolate or self-monitor for symptoms,” reads the statement, dated March 2.

This is the second exposure alert for Vanier in just over a week.

On Feb. 20, Island Health issued an advisory of possible COVID exposure at the school occurring Feb. 16, 17 and 19.

(Parents may have received two separate emails regarding the Feb. 16, 17, 19 exposure, although Island Health lists it as a single exposure event.)
