Alan Webb has submitted his nomination papers to serve as trustee on Union Bay Improvement District Board (UBID).
The decision for Webb to serve will be made by the community at the AGM on April 25, 2015.
Webb has served on the board for the past four years.
In that period he has been a member of the public works committee and chaired the committee for the past two years. Webb’s previous experience in industry and treating waste water has enabled him to make a real contribution to the community and the future plan for a water filtration system.
Webb is currently representing Union Bay on the CVRD South Sewer (TAC) project and is the volunteer coordinator for the Union Bay Gardeners project.
Webb’s other interests are sailing and restoring antique diesel engines.
