CVRD Public Hearing Notice

The public hearing will be held by a delegation of directors for Electoral Areas A, B and C as delegates of the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) Board. Anyone who believes the proposed bylaw will affect their interest will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.

Bylaw 792 “Rural Comox Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 520, 2019, Amendment No. 13”


This bylaw, if adopted, would rezone the property legally described as Lot 4 Block 249 Comox District

Plan EPP11657, PID 028-704-550 (7200 Forbidden Plateau Road) from Rural Twenty (RU-20) to Rural Twenty Exception Sixteen (RU-20-16) to facilitate a two-lot subdivision with a residential density limited to one dwelling per lot.

A copy of the proposed bylaw, the bylaw delegating the holding of the public hearing and related information may be viewed at the CVRD office, 770 Harmston Avenue, Courtenay, BC between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays from January 3, 2024 until January 16, 2024 or at:
