Albert Robinson Taylor

February 7, 1929 – February 22, 2019
Albert was the love of Wanda for 65 years. Born in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Albert enlisted in 1948, served 1st Battalion PPCLI and was a Korean War Veteran. Al met Wanda and married April 24, 1954. Over the years they had 4 children and raised their family during Al’s 32-year military career, followed by his civilian career in Edmonton. Albert and Wanda retired to Comox in 1989 and family and friends have enjoyed many years of their love and hospitality in their welcoming home. Albert was devoted to Wanda and will be missed by Wanda, daughter Patricia (David), son David (Susan), son Michael (Brenda), daughter Caroline (Chuck); grandchildren Genevieve, Jessa, Sarah, Julia, Taylor and Ashley; great-grandchildren Zachary, Madison, Jacob, Hailey, Abby, Ava, Liam, Colton and Wyatt; and great great-grandson Mason.

Special thanks to our Comox Valley family and friends, Al’s Legion coffee buddies, to Dr. Anderson and the new hospital 4th floor B Care Unit for Albert’s care over the past 6 months. Also thank you to hospital volunteers, 4th floor security and Handidart.

Private cremation arrangements. Family memorial in Edmonton to take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers Wanda asks that you donate to your favorite charity.
