Alvin passed away at his home in Vancouver on Sept. 16, 2016.
Alvin lived most of his life in Vancouver where he worked as a surveyor for Centre Heat Ltd. He grew up in the Comox Valley and it remained a special part of his life. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, fishing, hunting, skiing and biking. He leaves behind his sister Barbara McCombe (Barry), nieces Laurie (John), Lynette (Ross) and nephew Wayne (Bryon).
To all who knew him, Alvin was a “gentle soul”. A celebration of his life will be held in Vancouver at a later date.
