Apr 16, 1923 - May 7, 2018
Anna Maria Wilde passed away peacefully at The Views on Monday, May 7, 2018 in Courtenay B.C. at the age of 95.

Anna had been a resident at The Views for the past 18 years. She was predeceased by beloved son Gregory. Survived by her devoted husband Percy, son Robert (Mary), loving grandchildren Lee (Alana), Amy (Jonny) and great-grandchild Calvin.

Born in Holland on April 16, 1923 during the 2nd world war, Anna worked as an Interpreter attached to the British Army. After the war, she made the choice to come to Canada, where shortly after, she met her husband Percy of now 65 years of marriage.

Percy worked for Canada Customs. They moved around until settling in Courtenay in 1971. Keeping busy with a small family, Anna soon started working for The Green Sheet Paper in the photo department.

Anna enjoyed many activities, but one favourite was playing cards; Bridge and Cribbage. Some describe Anna as a grandmother to all. She loved always spending time with family and her loving grandchildren.

We would like to thank all the staff, volunteers, friends and fur-friends for the many hours spent with Anna at The Views.

Anna's family invites her friends to join them for an informal reception in celebration of her life on Friday, May 18th at 2:00 pm at Comox Valley Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Rd. Courtenay B.C.
