Born in Cumberland BC on the 25 October 1923. Arthur passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital,
Comox on 12 April 2013. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, son Roger and daughter Jane, three grandchildren Sterling, William and Laura-Jane, and Rainne his great grand daughter.
He also leaves his sister Dorothy Parkin and her two sons Bruce & Donald.
Arthur was employed for many years until his retirement by Field Sawmills in Courtenay. He enjoyed his travels to Great Britain and other parts of Canada in his retirement but perhaps most of all his enjoyed his garden & Goose Spit.
A celebration of his life will be held at his family home on Church Street Comox on Saturday April 27 from 2-4 pm.
