WOODS, Benjamin
1928 - 2012
Ben was born Aug. 12, 1928 in Cumberland and died June 9, 2012 in Comox. He was predeceased by his son Barry, parents William and Amelia, brother Herbert and sister Gladys. Ben will be lovingly remembered by his wife of over 60 years; Norma, son; Rodney and his wife Suzy, granddaughters; Tamara and Jorja, grandson; Todd and his wife Amy and great-grandchildren; Adah and Jack, brother; Bill(Rita) brother-in-law Bill Huddleston (Pat) and their families.
After retiring from the gravel truck business, Ben enjoyed many hunting trips to the Interior, as well as fishing and camping at China Creek. Many thanks to all those who made it a memorable experience for him. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of his life and Ben loved spending time with them. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In the end we know his son Barry was there waiting in the boat for him and together “They are forever in the wind”.
