It is with heavy heart that we, Jack, Brenda, and Richard announce the sudden passing of our wonderful Beverly. Born in Ottawa, Ontario 20 August 1934. She was the sixth of nine children born to Marjorie and Cliff Cotter. Beverly grew up in a happy love filled environment in Ottawa West. She married her childhood beau of fifty-three years on June 20, 1953. Bev enjoyed the many adventures associated with a military servicemans career. Having lived in Eastern France, Southern, Central and North West United States as well as the Canadian North West Territories, (Yellowknife).
Beverly will be sorely missed by her loving family; as well as the many friends she has met over the years.
The Deakin family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the Nurses, Doctors and Staff of St. Joseph’s for their kindness and high quality care they unselfishly provided during her last stay.
A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home in Courtenay, BC.
