of Courtenay, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Wednesday, March 30,2016. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, she loved this part of BC, having lived in Campbell River, numerous logging camps and most recently the Comox Valley for 30 years. A devoted mother and exceptional homemaker, Carole will be dearly missed by her daughters Leyal (Robin Lihou), Joanne (Gip) Thompson and extended family.
