Cathy passed suddenly in Comox leaving to mourn her passing, husband of 53 years, Jim Cavers in Comox, sister Betsy in Halifax, as well as numerous nieces and nephews across Canada. Pre-deceased by son, Shawn, sisters Gerry and Theresa, and brothers Frank and Karl.
Cathy was born and raised in Halifax where she lived until meeting Jim who was in the RCAF, stationed in Greenwood, Nova Scotia. They married in 1965 and lived on bases in Greenwood, Trenton, Comox, Lahr and Bodden, Germany before retiring to Comox in 1994, where they designed and built their dream home.
There she pursued her passions as a very able seamstress, for travel, dancing and having a good glass of wine. In later years, Cathy became an avid computer user too.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations made in Cathy's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
