June 11, 1924 - February 22, 2009
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Cec at Eagleview, St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, February 22nd, 2009. With his loving wife and family at his side he left us as he lived, peacefully and with dignity.
He will be missed so very much by his loving wife, Audrey, daughters Nancy Calverly (Richard), Sandy Lawrence (Chris), his son Jeff, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents Emma and Joseph, his brothers George, Melvin and Wayne and his sister Grace Kotric.
Cec was a long time member of 888 Wing Air Force Association and Branch 160 Comox Legion.
Audrey would like to thank Dr. Matous and Dr. Miller for the excellent care and compassion shown to Cec, the Nursing Staff, Activity Dept., Volunteers and Residents of Eagle View for their excellent care, hugs and just everything you did for Cec in that last 9 months. You truly made a difficult time of adjustment and change so much easier for us. A special thanks to Don the "Guitar man" - there's a glass of Tullamore Dew waiting for you!
A Celebration of Cec's life will take place on Saturday, February 28th at 2:00 pm at St. Michael and All Angels Protestant Chapel at CFB Comox. In lieu of flowers, donations to Eagleview Residence at St. Joseph's Hospital would be appreciated.
